Celebrating the life of

Kay B. Hirsch

November 16, 1948 - August 19, 2023

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Kay B. Hirsch, 74, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 19, 2023. 

The Lockhaven, PA native was a longtime resident of Wilmington Island. Kay was born on November 16, 1948 to the late Richard A. Bolopue and the late Doris Fitzsimmons Bolopue. She enjoyed traveling and scrapbooking. 

Kay was a remarkable and beautiful woman. The love for her family and friends was always evident. Kay's joyful smile will long be held in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who knew and loved her.

Kay will be dearly missed by her husband of 44 years, Captain Al Hirsch; a daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Steven Senter; her grandson, Trevor Senter; a sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Jerry Collins; and several nephews.

A private celebration of Kay’s life will be held.
